ASPEN — If you can guess when the Aspen golf course will open this year, you can play for free the next season.
That’s the incentive being offered by the Aspen Golf Club to entice golfers to purchase their 2008 passes before April 1.
If purchased by the end of this month, season passes are $1,000 — a savings of $200 off the regular season price, or $475 for a 20-punch pass, a savings of $50.
Passes can be purchased at the Red Brick Recreation Center Monday through Friday, or the Aspen Recreation Center seven days a week.
Golfers will be provided the opportunity to choose what day and time the first tee time will be for the 2008 season. A 2009 season pass to the Aspen Golf & Tennis Club is the prize for the correct guess.
A participant must be a 2008 pass holder to enter the contest, and all entries must be received at the Aspen Recreation Center or the Red Brick Recreation Center. For more information call the Red Brick Recreation Center at 920-5140, the Aspen Recreation Center 544-4100 or online at www.aspenrecreation.com.
