Dear Editor:
During the public discussion period of council's session regarding the first moratorium, Mick Ireland stood up and admonished council to "remember that much of this development pressure is coming from LLCs and offshore trusts, entities that are incapable of love."
Wow. What a succinct way of characterizing the problem. Mick is not anti-development; many of us aren't. We just want to be able to look you in the eyes and see the love, along with the dollar signs.
Aspen is the symptom.
Greed is the disease.
Mick Ireland is the cure.
