Naked, drunk man allegedly crashes bachelorette party

An uninvited guest at a bachelorette party who was allegedly drunk, naked, and refusing to leave was arrested Saturday.

James Nicholas Quoetone, 32, is charged with first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree burglary and indecent exposure after allegedly being caught with his pants around his ankles in a room at the Aspen Square Condominium Hotel.

According to a police report, the women who called police said they had been having a party in the hotel. One woman told police she saw Quoetone while she was smoking a cigarette on the balcony of her room.

The woman said Quoetone was on the balcony to her right and told her she was beautiful. She said 10 minutes later when she came out of the bathroom in her room, Quoetone was sitting on the bed next to the bathroom, pulling his pants down.

The woman left the room and asked friends at the party about Quoetone. She told police that none of her friends knew who he was or how he had gotten into the room. Another woman told police she saw Quoetone allegedly masturbating while looking at her and her friends, who were in the living room.

She told police she told the man to leave several times, but he wouldn't.

A hotel employee called 911 and then held the door to the bedroom closed with Quoetone inside until officers arrived. The door to the women's room had allegedly been damaged, as though someone had forced the door open by kicking it or pushing it repeatedly.

Quoetone was in Pitkin County Jail yesterday on $12,500 bail. The burglary and trespassing charges are felonies; indecent exposure is a misdemeanor.
